WIO Wood Sinking Chip Accent

Wood Sinking Chip Accent is a small-format answer to a problem full-size driftwood can't solve: fine texture and natural cover in the places a whole branch is too big for. Where WIO's Sinking Wood gives you a centerpiece, these chips fill the gaps around it - scattered across bare substrate, worked into foreground pockets, or layered beneath mosses and carpeting plants for a weathered, forest-floor look.

Like its full-size counterpart, each chip is naturally heavy and sinks immediately, with no curing or anchoring needed. The irregular, broken-grain shapes read as organic debris rather than deliberate decor, making them a quick way to age a new hardscape or soften the transition between stone and substrate.

Usage

• No Curing Required: Sinks immediately, like WIO's full-size Sinking Wood.
• Rinse Before Use: A quick rinse removes dust or loose particles from transit.
• Natural Organic Material: Expect variation in size, color, and shape between chips - each bag is a natural mix.
• Water Monitoring: May release minor tannins in the first days, typically negligible given the small volume per chip; maintain adequate kH to buffer pH if layering heavily.
• Placement: Scatter loosely for a natural debris look, or press lightly into substrate so pieces don't float free during maintenance.
• Pairing Tip: Works well scattered beneath mosses, around the base of larger driftwood, or mixed into foreground substrate for texture.
