Sera Micron Nature is a fry food — a finely powdered diet for the tiniest mouths in the hobby. Built from zooplankton (about 18% krill) and phytoplankton (around 51% spirulina), its tiny particles drift in the water and closely mimic the natural plankton newly-hatched fish and amphibian larvae feed on. It's also an excellent food for raising baby brine shrimp (Artemia nauplii).
Feeding Tip: This is the first food in the feeding progression our fish pages recommend: start fry on Sera Micron, then graduate them to Sera Vipan Baby flakes as they grow, and on to adult flakes and pellets from there. A tiny pinch goes a long way — the particles are minute — so feed lightly and often, and watch water quality since fry tanks foul fast.
