Sera Insect Nature takes the "natural diet" idea to its logical end: its only animal protein comes from insect meal (Tenebrio/mealworm larvae), reflecting what most ornamental fish actually eat in the wild — insect larvae and algae. The slowly-sinking granules round out the insect protein with wheat germ, sea algae, and other natural ingredients for easy digestibility and lively, well-colored fish.
Feeding Tip: A great way to add variety and a high-acceptance natural protein to a community diet — many fish take to the insect-based flavor eagerly. The slowly-sinking granules suit mid-water feeders; for nano fish like the small rasboras and tetras (chili rasboras, ember tetras, Boraras and the like), the granules can be crushed. Feed once or twice daily as part of a varied diet.
