Oriental Sword is a compact hybrid sword plant producing striking pink and green foliage under strong light — an unusual and appealing color combination for a sword plant whose pink tones add warm, rosy color alongside the typical sword plant green. Care tip: Oriental Sword is a root feeder that benefits greatly from a nutrient-rich substrate or regular root tabs. Maintain temperatures of 72–82°F and pH 6.0–7.5. CO₂ is optional for this variety.

Growing to 10 to 16 inches, Oriental Sword is a midground to background plant for medium aquariums. Root tabs or enriched substrate support the best growth and the most consistent pink and green color expression. The compact rosette form holds its midground to background position reliably.
