Feeding & Care Tip: Keep the pack frozen until you are ready to feed. Thaw a portion in a small cup of tank water, then feed only what your fish will finish in a couple of minutes — uneaten bloodworms foul the water quickly. Never refreeze thawed food. Offer bloodworms as a protein-rich treat a few times a week alongside a quality staple such as Hikari Sinking Wafers or Hikari Vibra Bites rather than as the only diet.
Because fish go after bloodworms so eagerly, they are also a handy way to coax picky or newly arrived fish into eating. Store in the freezer at all times.
