Neon Gold Blue Eye Neon Tetra
Neon Gold Blue Eye Neon Tetra
Neon Gold Blue Eye Neon Tetra (Paracheirodon innesi) is a color morph with golden to pale yellow-gold body coloration and vivid blue eyes — a warm, unusual combination that replaces the standard silvery-blue body with warm gold tones while retaining the characteristic blue eye iridescence.
Feeding & Care Tip: Hikari Micro Pellets (crushed or soaked briefly) and Sera Vipan Baby make excellent daily staples. Supplement 2–3× per week with Hikari Frozen or Freeze-Dried Baby Brine Shrimp and Hikari Frozen Daphnia. Feed small amounts 2–3 times daily in a calm environment.
A captive-developed color strain. The gold body coloration is produced by a shift in pigmentation rather than structural color. Care requirements are identical to the standard Neon Tetra in all respects.
Soft, slightly acidic water and subdued lighting maintain best coloration.
Keep in groups of at least 10. Pairs well with standard Neon Tetras for a striking mixed-morph school.
