hygger HG283 Dual flow filter is equipped with an 8.5W motor and a 120 GPH flow rate. This dual flow filter is powerful and easy-to-maintain. It is an ideal filtration solution for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums, 5-20 gallons.
The HOB design has an easy installation on the outer wall of the aquarium without taking up valuable tank space. It is easy to remove the filter for cleaning. The water inlet is also equipped with a sponge to prevent small fish or shrimp from getting suck in.
hygger 283 aquarium filter features a brushless motor and a low-friction rotor that operates quietly, making it ideal for shrimp or small fish. The air intake knob helps mix air with water and increase dissolved oxygen.
The built-in pump drives the full filtered water circulation:
-First, the rotating drum filter traps particles, food debris, and fish waste.
-Then, the porous bio-sponge provides a large surface area and open porosity to absorb odor and discoloration and break down waste.
-Finally, a one-touch drain removes accumulated debris quickly. After multiple layers of filtration, clean water flows out of the outlet.
hygger aquarium dual flow filter comes with 2 bio-sponges and 1 PP filter media for fine filtration. The filter media can be added or replaced as needed.
