Advanced Multi-Stage Filtration and Oxygenation System

This crystal aquarium filter has ultrafine cotton, activated carbon cotton, and bio balls. It provides mechanical, chemical, and biological filtration for a clean and healthy aquatic environment. In addition, the vent on the top of the filter and the aeration tank at the water outlet ensure that the water returned to the tank is fully oxygenated, it also helps to add oxygen to meet various water levels and is suitable for fish tanks of different sizes.

Innovative Cleaning Mechanism

The filter pump drives water upwards into the bio balls basket at the top of the filter, then down through the fine cotton and activated carbon cotton slots before exiting from the top. This process ensures high water turnover rates and efficiently removes debris and impurities. The unique bottom-up flow design ensures thorough water contact with all filter media, optimizing filtration effectiveness. The spacious filter chamber also allows for adding more filter media as needed.

Silent Operation

The crystal filter’s distinctive overflow design minimizes water splash. The aquarium filter is ready to use right out of the box. It starts up immediately without the need to add water when plugged in. It will also restart automatically if the power is interrupted and restored. The adjustable flow knob allows you to increase or decrease the water flow at will, which is very useful when feeding. Besides, the filter water inlet is equipped with a sponge to prevent the inhalation of small fish and large impurities.

Versatile Hanging-on Filter Options

The hygger crystal filter comes in two sizes to suit different aquarium capacities. The 79 GPH model, measuring 5.5″ x 3.5″ x 2.6″, is ideal for aquariums ranging from 4 to 21 gallons. The 153 GPH model, measuring 6.9″ x 3.7″ x 8.7″, is suitable for larger setups from 20 to 50 gallons.

Usage Tips
