The Hydra Brilliant Cube 25 Gallon is a rimless, low-iron glass cube aquarium built for aquascaping. "Brilliant" refers to the ultra-clear, low-iron glass — it loses the greenish tint of ordinary aquarium glass for a crisp, true-color view of your scape — and the clean, rimless, braceless design puts nothing between you and the layout. The cube footprint is a favorite for nature-style and iwagumi aquascapes, giving real depth front-to-back to build into.
Good to Know: Low-iron (often called "opti-white") glass is the standard for serious display tanks because it shows plant greens, fish color, and hardscape tones accurately, with beautifully clear panes and polished seams. A 25-gallon cube is a versatile size — substantial enough for a real aquascape and a community of nano fish and shrimp, while still fitting comfortably on a stand or sturdy table.
As with any rimless tank, set it on a perfectly level surface with a proper cushioning mat underneath, and make sure your stand is rated for the filled weight (water plus hardscape adds up fast).
