Usage Tips

Proper Installation:

• Fully submerge the heater in water before powering it on to avoid motor damage and ensure accurate temperature sensing.

Controller Placement:

• Use the included bracket to securely mount the digital controller on the tank edge for easy access and real-time monitoring.

Temperature Setting:

• Adjust the temperature using the intuitive LED controller—simply press the SET button to select the desired temperature within the 59°F to 93°F range. The heater automatically stops heating when the preset temperature is reached.

Safety Features:

• The heater features an auto shut-off function that activates if water temperature exceeds 94°F or if the unit is lifted 5 cm above water, preventing overheating and dry-run damage. An audible alarm and warning indicators alert you to abnormal conditions.

Monitoring & Alerts:

• Regularly check the LED display for water temperature, power status, and any warning signals. The memory function retains your settings even after power interruptions for continuous operation.

Placement Tips:

• Position the heater away from direct contact with tank decorations or substrate to ensure even heat distribution and prevent damage. For tanks requiring multiple heaters, use units with staggered settings for optimal temperature stability.
