Hoya sp. Tanggamus is an as-yet unidentified Hoya collected from the Tanggamus regency of Lampung, on the Indonesian island of Sumatra, and grown in the trade under this collection locality. As with many Sumatran Hoya still working through formal classification, it's offered as a genus-level find rather than a named species.
Note: as a freshly imported bare-root plant, this specimen typically arrives with just a few leaves — the photo shows a more mature, fuller specimen for reference.
Care tip: Treat as you would most epiphytic Hoya from Sumatra's wet forest — bright indirect light, a well-draining mix, and consistent humidity while it establishes.
Give it a well-draining, chunky epiphyte mix and allow it to dry somewhat between waterings, in keeping with general Hoya care. As with all undescribed sp. finds, exact appearance and mature growth habit will vary — the photo shows a mature reference specimen — your bare-root plant will typically be smaller.
