Babaulti Green Shrimp (Caridina cf. babaulti) is a different species from the standard N. davidi Neocaridina — native to India rather than Taiwan. C. babaulti displays a distinctive green coloration that is often more vivid and uniform than green N. davidi varieties, with the green pigmentation being more intrinsic to the species rather than selectively bred. Care is similar to Neocaridina but parameters should be kept toward the softer, slightly more acidic end of the range.
