The Hydra Brilliant Bookshelf 6.7 Gallon is a rimless, low-iron glass aquarium with a long, low "bookshelf" footprint built for aquascaping. The ultra-clear low-iron ("Brilliant") glass loses the greenish tint of ordinary aquarium glass for a crisp, true-color view, and the clean rimless design puts nothing between you and your scape. The extended, shallow shape gives you a wide panoramic canvas — ideal for carpets and low hardscapes — in a compact nano footprint.
Good to Know: Low-iron (opti-white) glass is the standard for serious display tanks because it shows plant greens, fish color, and hardscape tones accurately. The bookshelf proportions suit a shelf, desk, or counter, and the shallow depth helps light and CO₂ reach the substrate — a lovely size for a nano-fish or shrimp display.
As with any rimless tank, set it on a perfectly level surface with a cushioning mat underneath, and confirm the furniture is rated for the filled weight.
