WIO Stone - Darknight Dragon

Think of Darknight as Dragon's twilight twin. Where classic Dragon reads sun-baked ochres and yellow-browns, Darknight shifts the palette into dusk: weathered browns washed with a subtle violet cast and smoky undertones. The same layered "dragon-skin" erosion is here — grooves, ledges, pockets — but the cooler, moodier color story trades warmth for cinematic shadow and calm.

Under directional light, Darknight's ridges glow in muted bronze while the violet tint deepens the valleys, yielding stronger chiaroscuro than standard Dragon without harsh glare. In softer top light it settles into a misty, twilight gradient — perfect for wabi-sabi scenes, mountain ravines, and moody Iwagumi interpretations where you want texture to speak quietly.

Compose as you would with Dragon — lead with the most sculptural ridge, then echo strata to build terraces and fall lines — but tune the surrounds differently. Pale or silver sands give high contrast and let the cool tones breathe; darker beds create tone-on-tone depth for gallery-quiet layouts. Gnarled driftwood and deep greens amplify the nocturne vibe. Usage

• Suitable for both aquatic and terrarium environments
• Rinse rocks and stones with water before use; use a brush to clean before introducing to the aquarium
• Avoid placing rocks directly on the glass — place substrate or WIO LandForms beneath the hardscape first
• Always secure stones, especially when stacking; use WIO ScapeBound to prevent movement during maintenance
• Position stones a few centimeters/inches away from aquarium glass walls to facilitate maintenance
• Safe for fish, shrimps, and other aquatic animals
