Leea sp. Green is an unidentified Leea collected in Indonesia and grown in the trade under this name. Leea is a genus in the grape family (Vitaceae) native to Africa, tropical Asia, Australia, and Melanesia, and unusually for that family, its roughly 45 species grow as non-climbing shrubs and small trees rather than climbing vines with tendrils.

Note: as a freshly imported bare-root plant, this specimen typically arrives with just a few leaves — the photo shows a more mature, fuller specimen for reference.

Care tip: Treat as you would most understory Leea — bright indirect light, consistent moisture, and high humidity.

Give it bright, indirect light, well-draining soil, regular watering, and high humidity. As with all locality-named or informally identified finds, exact appearance and mature growth habit will vary — the photo shows a mature reference specimen — your bare-root plant will typically be smaller.
