Alocasia Bisma is native to Indonesia, admired for its soft, silvery-green foliage with a matte, almost powdery finish. Thick, leathery, arrowhead-shaped leaves carry a subtle blue-silver cast and prominent venation, giving each leaf a soft yet striking visual contrast against the deeper green found in many other Alocasia.

Note: as a freshly imported bare-root plant, this specimen typically arrives with just a few leaves — the photo shows a more mature, fuller specimen for reference.

Care tip: This is a relatively compact, low-maintenance Alocasia — a good option for collectors who want that jewel-toned silvery look without an especially fussy plant.

Mature plants typically reach 50–60 cm tall and wide, with a compact, manageable growth habit well suited to indoor display. Give it bright, indirect light — full sun will scorch the leaves, while low light slows growth — a rich, well-draining mix of coco peat, perlite, and orchid bark, and 60–80% humidity. Like most Alocasia, it may enter a dormant phase in cooler months with some leaf drop, which is entirely normal.

A striking, comparatively easy-care Alocasia for collectors drawn to soft metallic and silvery foliage tones rather than the darker, more dramatic end of the genus.
