This easy plant requires no CO₂ supplementation and grows in low to moderate lighting. The wide pH range of 6.5 to 8.0 reflects exceptional water chemistry adaptability. Temperatures between 72 and 82°F provide comfortable conditions. Regular fertilization maintains healthy growth and the distinctive striped patterning.
