This Shrimp / Snail Food is a sinking diet made for the specific needs of freshwater invertebrates — ornamental shrimp and snails — rather than fish. It combines the vegetable matter, minerals, and protein that inverts need for healthy growth, vivid color, and (crucially) successful molting and strong shell development, in a sinking form sized for tiny invertebrate mouths that holds together without clouding the water.
Good to Know: ornamental shrimp (Neocaridina like cherries, and Caridina like crystals and Taiwan bees) and freshwater snails have very different needs from fish — they especially need minerals for molting and shells, and plenty of plant matter. A dedicated invert food covers that, and pairs naturally with a biofilm booster and a mineral supplement for a thriving colony. Feed a small amount the colony clears in a few hours, and remove leftovers.
