Seachem Stress Guard is a slime-coat support and stress reducer for fish under duress — newly added fish, fish that have been netted or shipped, or fish recovering from injury or minor wounds. It stimulates the fish's natural protective slime coat and contains protein-binding agents that seek out exposed tissue and cover it like a liquid bandage, along with a mild antiseptic to help guard against secondary infection.
Good to Know: It's not a medication, but it's an excellent companion to one — reducing stress and protecting damaged skin and fins while the fish heals. It's a smart thing to dose when acclimating new arrivals, after handling, or any time fish show signs of stress, and it can be used alongside Seachem's other treatments.

Dosing Guidelines: Use 5 mL (1 capful) per 10 gallons, daily, until symptoms of stress subside — or with each water change and whenever adding new fish. Safe for freshwater and marine systems.
