A Note for Planted Tanks: As a canister, it returns water gently and is excellent for CO₂ tanks — pair it with a spray bar or lily pipe (and a CO₂ diffuser) for even flow and minimal CO₂ off-gassing, exactly what a high-tech scape wants.
How to Use: Plumb the intake and return, prime it, and set the heater to your target temperature. Service the media in old tank water (never tap) and stagger media changes to protect your biofilter.
