Replacement 20-PPI blue foam for the Oase BioMaster canister filter. At 20 pores per inch this is a coarse foam — ideal as an early mechanical stage that catches larger debris and resists clogging, keeping water flowing while finer media polishes downstream.
Rinse in old tank water during maintenance; replace when worn. PPI means "pores per inch" — the foam's pore density. Lower PPI is coarser (catches bigger debris, clogs slowly, great as a first/pre-filter stage); higher PPI is finer (polishes water and offers more bacterial surface area, but clogs faster).
