Dr. Bassleer Biofish Food Garlic is the same premium probiotic granule as the Regular formula, fortified with natural garlic. Garlic's active compound, allicin, has a purifying, mildly antibacterial and antiparasitic effect, and is rich in trace elements (selenium, iodine), manganese, vitamin B6, and enzymes. The garlic is added after the granulation process to preserve its potency.
Feeding Tip: This is the variant to reach for with stressed, newly-arrived, or finicky fish, and fish that have gone off their food — garlic is a well-known appetite stimulant and a gentle, natural health support that can help fish resist bacterial and internal-parasite issues without jumping straight to medication. Grain size "M" suits fish ~1–6 cm. A great rotation food in mixed or disease-prone tanks; some keepers feed it for a stretch (e.g. against gill flukes) as label-directed.
