These are packaged by us at Cuboid in the exact quantity needed for the Hygger all-in-one CO2 generator, which produces CO₂ by reacting citric acid with sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) — a clean, controllable reaction that gives you pressurized-style CO₂ for a planted tank without a gas cylinder. You need both chemicals to run the generator. The sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) is the "base" side of the reaction — reacting with the citric acid to generate the carbon dioxide that feeds your plants.
Good to Know: Pair this with our Cuboid Aquatics Citric Acid — the generator uses equal quantities of each, so you'll buy the same number of packs of both. Both come pre-measured in 200 g packs sized to the generator, so charging the bottles is as simple as counting out packs — no scale needed. How to Use — Hygger generator fill: Use one 200 g pack of each (one citric acid + one sodium bicarbonate) per fill of the 2 L generator, and three packs of each per fill of the 5 L generator. Follow your generator's instructions for the order and water volumes when charging the bottles.
