CO2 Art Black CO2 Tubing is a 10-foot length of tubing made specifically for pressurized CO₂ systems. Ordinary airline tubing is porous to CO₂ and lets the gas slowly leak through its walls — wasting gas and throwing off your bubble count — whereas proper CO₂-rated tubing is far less permeable, so the gas you pay for actually reaches your diffuser. The black color also resists the algae growth that clouds clear tubing in a lit tank.
