Bob Smith Industries Super Glue & Accelerator is the aquascaper's go-to kit for attaching plants and building hardscape. The cyanoacrylate gel bonds Bucephalandra, Anubias, mosses, and ferns onto wood and stone in seconds, and it cures completely safe and inert underwater — the standard technique for fixing epiphytes exactly where you want them. The included accelerator sets the glue instantly, so there's no waiting and holding.
Good to Know: Super glue (cyanoacrylate) is 100% reef- and shrimp-safe once cured — it's used in planted and reef tanks alike. The trick: glue works on a dry or just-damp surface, so pat your wood and plant rhizome dry first, apply a small dab, mist the accelerator (or dip), and press. It turns white when it contacts water, which hides easily under the plant. A gel formula (rather than thin liquid) gives you more control.
How to Use: Dry the attachment spot, apply a small amount of gel to the hardscape, place the plant's rhizome or base (keep rhizomes above the substrate), spritz with accelerator to set instantly, then return to the tank. A 3 oz combined pack handles a lot of aquascaping.
