The AquaVista Deluxe Brine Shrimp Hatchery lets you hatch your own live baby brine shrimp (Artemia) at home — the gold-standard first food for fish fry and a fantastic, nutritious live treat for nano fish and shrimp. Newly-hatched brine shrimp are tiny, protein-rich, and irresistibly wiggly, triggering a strong feeding response and giving fry the best possible start. This deluxe hatchery makes the process clean and reliable.
Good to Know: Live baby brine is what serious breeders raise fry on — nothing matches its nutrition and the way fish attack it. You add brine shrimp eggs (cysts), salt, and water, provide aeration and warmth, and in 18–36 hours you have a fresh hatch to harvest with a pipette. It's endlessly cheaper than buying live brine, and a single setup keeps a fry tank or a colony of nano fish like the small rasboras and tetras (chili rasboras, ember tetras, Boraras and the like) well fed.
How to Use: Fill with a saltwater mix, add brine shrimp eggs, run the aeration warm (~80°F), and harvest the newly-hatched nauplii after about a day. Rinse harvested shrimp before feeding. (Brine shrimp eggs sold separately.)
