The replacement filter cartridge for the Aquatop Forza PFE1 hang-on-back power filter. Each cartridge combines mechanical filtration (trapping debris) with activated carbon (chemical filtration for clear, odor-free water). Since carbon exhausts over time, swapping the cartridge keeps the filter performing.
Aquatop suggests replacing about monthly. Tip: many aquascapers prefer to replace the disposable cartridge with their own reusable media (sponge, bio-media, Purigen) to preserve their biofilter and cut waste — but for stock setups, this is the drop-in cartridge.
