API Pyramid Fish Feeders are slow-dissolving vacation feeder blocks that feed your fish while you're away. The pyramid slowly releases food as it dissolves over several days, so community fish stay fed during a short trip without anyone needing to visit. Available as a 3-Day ("weekend") and 14-Day ("2-week") block.
Good to Know: Vacation feeders are handy for short absences, though a couple of honest notes: healthy adult fish can comfortably go several days without feeding, and feeder blocks can cloud water or nudge hardness in a small tank. For a planted nano or shrimp tank, simply not feeding for a long weekend — or using an automatic feeder with your normal food — is often gentler. For a fish-only community tank over a trip, these are a simple solution.
How to Use: Drop one block in for the trip length indicated (3 or 14 days), sized to your number of fish per the label. Best in filtered, reasonably stocked tanks; avoid overloading a small tank.
