API BettaFix is a gentle, all-natural antibacterial and antifungal remedy formulated specifically for bettas. Built on tea tree (Melaleuca) extract at a betta-safe concentration, it treats the everyday minor troubles bettas are prone to — frayed or rotting fins, fungus, and the small wounds and abrasions that lead to infection — and promotes regrowth of damaged fins and tissue. It's a sensible first-aid bottle for any betta keeper.
Good to Know: BettaFix is essentially a betta-strength version of Melafix — the lower concentration is the key, since full-strength tea-tree products can harm a betta's labyrinth organ (the accessory breathing organ that lets them gulp air). Use BettaFix as directed for bettas rather than the standard formula. It's for minor, early issues; a serious infection still needs a proper medication.
Dosing Guidelines: Dose per the label for your betta's tank or bowl, typically daily for about a week, with a water change at the end of the course. For small betta containers, measure carefully.
