Super Blue Kerri Tetra
Super Blue Kerri Tetra
Super Blue Kerri Tetra (Inpaichthys kerri) is an enhanced color strain of the Kerri Tetra selected for maximum violet-blue intensity in males — the 'Super Blue' designation reflecting the most saturated and vivid blue-violet expression of the Kerri Tetra's famous male coloration.
Feeding & Care Tip: Hikari Micro Pellets (crushed or soaked) and Sera Vipan Baby make excellent daily staples. Supplement 2–3× per week with Hikari Frozen or Freeze-Dried Baby Brine Shrimp and Hikari Frozen Daphnia. Feed small amounts 2–3 times daily in a calm environment.
Same native range as standard Kerri — upper Aripuanã River, Mato Grosso, Brazil. All care identical.
Keep in groups of at least 8 with both sexes. Soft water produces the deepest blue-violet. Most vivid in a dark-substrate planted aquarium.
The Super Blue strain takes one of the most vivid tetras and intensifies its signature feature.
