San Francisco Bay Frozen Baby Brine Shrimp are newly-hatched brine shrimp, frozen whole — the tiniest brine shrimp food, made for the smallest mouths in the hobby. Live baby brine is the gold-standard food for fry and micro-fish but a chore to hatch daily; this frozen form gives you that same tiny, nutritious food without the daily hatchery routine.
Feeding Tip: This is the food for fry and the smallest nano fish — nano fish like the small rasboras and tetras (chili rasboras, ember tetras, Boraras and the like) and their babies can manage these where adult brine would be too big. Thaw a small amount and target-feed near the fish with a pipette or baster.
Thawing & Handling: Pop out a portion into a small cup of tank water, let it thaw a minute or two, then pour off the excess pack liquid before feeding. Feed only what's eaten in a couple of minutes, never refreeze a thawed portion, and wash your hands after handling.
