Fritz Slime Out targets one of the more stubborn nuisances in the hobby: the slimy, sheet-like films of cyanobacteria (often called "blue-green algae") and other bacterial slime that can coat substrate, glass, plants, and hardscape. Each treatment goes after the slime directly, helping break it down and clear it from surfaces where it has taken hold. This is the convenient 10-pack of individual doses.
Good to Know: Cyanobacteria isn't a true algae — it's a bacterial film, which is why ordinary algae approaches often don't touch it and a targeted treatment like this works better. As with any slime treatment, the underlying causes (excess nutrients, poor flow, accumulated organics) are worth addressing too, so the film doesn't simply return. Pairing the treatment with improved circulation and maintenance gives the most lasting result.

Dosing Guidelines: Follow the dosing printed on the packets for your tank volume, dosing one packet per treatment as directed. Maintain good water circulation during treatment, and follow up with water changes and regular maintenance to keep the slime from returning.
