Aquavitro Shrimp Stacks is stackable perforated ceramic pieces you can build into a multi-level shrimp "condo", designed as a shelter for ornamental shrimp. The many openings create a network of caves for shrimp to retreat into during breeding and to hide in while molting — the most vulnerable moment in a shrimp's life — giving the colony security and a tidy, natural-looking feature in the scape.
Good to Know: Shrimp feel safest with plenty of hiding places, and they're especially vulnerable right after molting, when their new shell is soft. A dedicated shelter gives them somewhere to retreat to breed and to hide while they harden up — reducing stress and improving survival and breeding. The surface also grows the biofilm shrimp love to graze.
A purpose-built hideaway that helps ornamental shrimp (Neocaridina like cherries, and Caridina like crystals and Taiwan bees) feel secure, breed, and molt safely.
