This immersive event is perfect for aquascapers and shrimp keepers of all experience levels who want to learn, create, and take home a stunning aquarium.
To attend the workshop, participants purchase a Workshop Kit, which includes everything needed to build a complete aquascape during the event. You may choose one of the following aquarium options:

Each Workshop Kit includes:

$75 credit to use during the event toward:
Hardscape (wood & rock)
Aquatic plants
Substrate
You’ll select your materials in-store and aquascape your tank during the workshop with help from Madalyn and the Cuboid staff.
At the end of the night, you’ll take your finished aquarium home with you.
During the workshop, Madalyn will:
Review her latest aquascape
Share design principles and layout techniques
Provide care and setup guidance for Neocaridina and Caridina freshwater shrimp
Answer questions throughout the event while assisting participants as they build
This is an interactive, educational experience — not just a demonstration.
For the first time, we’re also offering a limited Workshop Experience option.
With this option, participants:
Attend the full workshop
Create an aquarium during the event just like kit participants
Use the experience as a practice scape
At the end of the event:
If you love your creation, you may purchase it by paying the difference between the Workshop Experience and the Workshop Kit price
Otherwise, leave the aquarium, and hardscape, with us as a practice build
